***As of 8:30 this morning, City Bus Service has resumed, but expect delays as driving conditions are not good***

**Update** – all city school buses have been cancelled for today (no morning OR afternoon service). City schools remain open at this point. We’ll keep you updated!Due to extremely poor road and weather conditions ALL RURAL TRANSPORTATION has been CANCELLED for today.

*City Buses are being pulled to the side of the road until conditions improve. If you don’t have to leave the house today, please don’t!

Come See Us & Get Bizarre at the Bazaar!

On December 13th, we’ll be at the Bizarre Bazaar selling CD grab bags. If you bring a canned good or a non-perishable food donation, you’ll get half off one of those grab bags!

A portion of the proceeds is going to the RFDA Thunder Bay Regional Food Distribution Association, so be sure to stop by and score some CD’s for a good cause!

The LU Radio Concert Series Continues!

LU Radio and The Outpost are presenting an awesome series of shows at Lakehead University this year. Six shows have been scheduled and the first two were HUGE successes! Now, the time has come for show number three!

Friday November 14th, CILU and LUSU’s Sustainability Initiative present an night of music and entertainment you won’t forget! The Outpost doors open at 9pm and the fun starts at 10pm with performances from DDT Damon Dowbak TrioJean-Paul De Roover and The Auditor General! Then you can dance the night away with LU Radio’s own DJ D’Arkangel of The Flyest 2.0.

This event is all ages and only $5 at the door with all proceeds going to help fund the Sustainability and CILU.

THE HUNGER 9 – Massive 8-Venue Halloween Cabaret … On Friday, October 31st, 8 pm-2 am … Enter the multi-verse, the largest music/performance spectacle you’ll ever experience!

One night-One Massive Halloween Event – 8 venues – 56 performance acts – 44 bands/DJ’s of all genres – fabulous performers – thousands in costume prizes – 4,250 people attended last year!

One cover of $15 at the door gets you into all 8 downtown north Waterfront District venues (Crock’s, Black Pirates Pub, The Foundry, The Sovereign Room, Gargoyles, A Little to the Left, Red Lion Smokehouse, Hell).
