Well, tomorrow is the big day and some folks chomping at the bit to see what kind of swag we have to offer for people who donate to the station! So, below you’ll find a list of many of the items being offered. We still have swag coming in from various places so we will be updating constantly throughout the day.

As we stated earlier, you can call in your pledges to one of three numbers: 807-766-7260, 807-766-7261 or 807-343-8881, you can donate via paypal right on our ‘Donate’ page or you can drop by 707 Oliver Rd. at any time during the Radio-A-Thon. If you are using our paypal option, please call the station or email: info@luradio.ca first if you are donating in hopes of receiving a particular prize pack. We want to make sure you get what you want! I’ll be monitoring email all day so you’ll hear back immediately if you have questions!

We’ll hold prize packs for 3 weeks for people but if we don’t receive your pledge by then, we will allow people who wanted that particular prize pack but missed out to send in a donation for it. We will, of course, contact you before we go ahead and give your prize away!

So, now you know and below is how the prizing works:

$25 A sticker and a button pack
$50 Adds on a T-shirt
$100 Adds on a random pick from the prize bin*
$200 Adds an actual pick from the prize bin or the ‘You Be The DJ’ prize pack**
$300 All of the above plus one of our Grand Prize packs!

*This may include a package of CD’s, DVD’s, posters, concert tickets, gift certificates, or even t-shirts!

**The ‘You Be The DJ’ prize pack allows you to do just that. You pick the show you wish to be on [not all shows are participating, please check with the person you are speaking to on the phone to ensure that the show you want is participating first!] , you bring the music you want to play, you get to be the host! We’ll do all the operating for you but you get to actually be on the air (if you wish). You’ll also receive an LU Radio shirt and a CD copy of your show!

***Everyone who donates, big or small will be entered into our final grand prize draw which will take place on Sunday Evening between 5-9pm. You must be listening and call in to win! Grand prize draw will include 2 tickets to the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra Pops Concert on May 1st and a $150 gift certificate to Armando’s Restaurant!***
